Metal Prices Might Remain Higher for Longer

Metals seem to be in a rush to make new record highs recently. Copper (Chart 1) has almost touched it’s Mar’22 high when this Friday it closed at 10,668 USD/MT against the Mar’22 high of 10,845 USD/MT. Nickel (Chart 2) spiked 8% last week reaching 21080 USD/MT. Remember Mar’22 was the time when Russia Ukraine crisis has just started and metal supplies were totally gone from Russia end.
