April’s nonfarm payroll numbers finally show the lagged impact of Fed’s restrictive rates on US employment. Not only did the headline came lower, the AHEs came lower & the UR ticked higher along with average weekly hours ticking lower. In fact just one category health & private education accounted for over half of the entire gain in payrolls with an increase of 95,000.
