We are now entering a phase where US politics by virtue of it’s likely absolutism (all four pillars of US policy making i.e. President, Senate, Congress, Supreme Court being controlled by Republicans) might create multiple high impact events of high IVs. We believe volatility is mean reverting in long term. And we might be just entering the phase of IVs shooting for the stars in next few years.
